Welcome to Keaton's Lodge", a haven of warmth and comfort boasting 12-foot ceilings and a luxurious California King bed. Enjoy the convenience of a coffee station, mini fridge, and microwave, along with a walk-in custom-tiled shower and double vanity featuring hand-forged copper sinks. Unwind with entertainment on the smart TV, while individual mini-split units ensure personalized climate control. Plus, stay connected with complimentary Wi-Fi.
Unique touches include vintage tin-stamped ceilings salvaged from an old downtown Texas building, revealing original hardwood planks that inspired the suite's rustic charm. Handmade barn-door shutters crafted from these planks add to the suite's distinctive allure, providing a peaceful retreat perfect for relaxation and rejuvenation.
The Gallery House is only 1/2 block from Tarleton Sate University on the East side of campus. The residential neighborhood is eclectic and historical with various period homes, red brick streets and yet close to Historic Downtown, Hospital District, Main Street and various restaurants, boutiques, shops and bars.
We offer Self Check-In to all guests where we will send you your personal door code on the day of check-in. So check your email as well as the platform you book on in order to receive your check in instructions. Keaton's Lodge is accessed through the South side of property "Back Door", off of the parking Lot. We have free parking for all registered guest.
Most everything you will need is in walking distance. Stephenville does have Uber, Stephenville Taxi Services and car rentals.
This Historic Home was about to be dozed over 30 years ago until one woman, a professor at TSU, now retired, single-handedly saved the now Gallery House Boutique Hotel.

Kason and Kim were extremely responsive and accommodating, we had several hiccups when moving our son to a new school (nothing to do with them, but only our circumstances) and they could not have been easier to reach out to and provide assistance-so appreciated! They took a stressful situation on our end and were completely understanding and helpful, which was a huge relief. The house was peaceful and quiet, even though other guests were there and despite being so close to a college campus. The scones and pumpkin bread were a nice touch and super delicious, we will definitely be back soon! Thanks you so much!

If you don’t mind sharing a house, it’s perfect. Bed was amazing. Room was huge. I got lucky and shared with a great family, whose son is starting at Tarleton today. Mom lives in Spain. I’m a Texan. Wish I had another day with them. We could have cooked in the open kitchen. It’s so close to campus. Whole time I was thinking, you better get this one football. Too easy.

The Airbnb was super cute and very clean! Kason was really quick with responding and even let us check in early so we could make it to our sisters graduation on time!

We used this location for my son who only had to attend class in person one or two days per week. It made perfect sense and was MUCH less expensive than a dorm that he wouldn't be in most of the time. Having a parking space at the location was an added plus, although you will still need a Tarleton parking sticker for the other side of campus. This location is less than two blocks to the east of campus, and it is super convenient for a responsible student. My son stayed here a total of 13 times during the semester. Generally only for one day. It was less expensive than a hotel, close to campus, and the owner was INCREDIBLY responsive to inquiries. My son graduated a semester early, but starts a Doctorate in Applied Sciences in the fall. We will be back! A great big THANK YOU to the owners. Great location. Great owners. Great value. Great Experience. Till next time, may the wind be forever in your sails.
